FATHER PHILIPS BIRTHDAY
During the BBQ evening we also celebrated the birthday of Father Philip, much to his embarrasment! He also was subjected the the wearing of the birthday hat!!! (We all hate that)

CHURCH LADS' AND CHURCH GIRLS' BRIGADE BATTALION SERVICE
On 21st September the Rochdale Battalion of the CLCGB had their annual service at All Saints and Martyrs.
The three companies were All Saints and martyrs, St Thomas's and St Martins.
Father Philip gave the sermon based "loosely" on the story of David and Goliath.

Not at all sure that Goliath had green "Hulk" hands! After the service all assembled in the hall for refreshments. A most enjoyable event. |
