JUNIOR CHURCH "RAPPING"

On Sunday 5th October some of  the junior church performed a Rap relating to the 10 plagues in Egypt. Each plague mentioned finished with plea to let the people go.

It was so good even the clergy, Rev'd Sue Morgan, could not resist joining in!

FATHER PHILIPS BIRTHDAY

During the BBQ evening we also celebrated the birthday of Father Philip, much to his embarrasment! He also was subjected the the wearing of the birthday hat!!! (We all hate that)

BBQ AND QUIZ NIGHT

Another super BBQ and quiz night was held on the 6th September.

Along with the great beefburgers and sausages there was copious amounts of cake!.

The ladies of the cake!

We are extremely grateful for the gorgeous sausages kindly donated by Lords of Middleton, and the fluffy bread rolls kindly donated by Tesco.

Winners of the Booby Prize!
Chocolates are always acceptable.

The overall winners with their prizes

Ok they are small bottles but times is hard!

CHURCH LADS' AND CHURCH GIRLS' BRIGADE BATTALION SERVICE

On 21st September the Rochdale Battalion of the CLCGB had their annual service at All Saints and Martyrs.

The three companies were All Saints and martyrs, St Thomas's  and St Martins.

Father Philip gave the sermon based "loosely" on the story of David and Goliath.

Not at all sure that Goliath had green "Hulk" hands!

After the service all assembled in the hall for refreshments.

A most enjoyable event.
